Baker County lies just west of Jacksonville along I-10 and US 90, a largely rural county of pine flatwoods, small towns and open land, with Macclenny as its county seat. Much of its landscape is forest, and part of Osceola National Forest reaches into the county. History runs deep here as well: the 1864 Battle of Olustee, the only major Civil War battle fought in Florida, took place in Baker County. Homes range from houses in Macclenny and Glen St. Mary to newer subdivisions and homes on acreage. From Macclenny, NAS Jacksonville is roughly 33 miles east by car. Public schools are part of the Baker County School District. Browse current Baker County homes for sale below.
