David Willis

David Willis is a Jacksonville native who buys, sells, and invests here — and he got his license so he could do his own deals, not because a brokerage recruited him off a postcard.

He earned his bachelor's and his MBA at the University of North Florida. While he was at UNF he managed a used-car dealership. When that housing market broke, he left the car business and started buying foreclosures. In 2010, still investing, he started Jax Party Bus & Limousine. He still owns it. He got his real estate license in 2014 after using other agents on his own transactions. He wanted to write the offers, buy, sell, and list the properties he was already investing in. That is still the work: he buys, flips, rents, and sells residential and commercial property, including through D3 Commercial Investments.
