Leeward Landing is a subdivision in Neptune Beach, one of the small Duval County beach communities strung along the Atlantic coast between Atlantic Beach to the north and Jacksonville Beach to the south. The town is largely residential, organized around Atlantic Boulevard and Florida Boulevard, with the Beaches Town Center at its northern edge providing most of its shops and restaurants. Housing in Neptune Beach communities is predominantly single-family, set on flat, sandy blocks a short walk or bike ride from the ocean, and the pace stays noticeably quieter than in the larger beach city to the south.
