Ortega Venetia Homes for Sale

Ortega and Venetia occupy a peninsula off the west bank of the St. Johns River, bordered by the Ortega River and split by Roosevelt Boulevard (US 17). East of Roosevelt is Old Ortega, much of it a National Register historic district with homes dating to the early 1900s and 1920s along Ortega Boulevard and McGirts Boulevard, while Ortega Forest to the west has many 1950s ranch homes. Venetia, founded in 1925 as a Mediterranean-inspired development with canals like Venice, lies at the southern end. Nearly all homes here are single-family, including large homes along the riverfront. Stockton Park and other neighborhood parks are tended with help from local trusts. NAS Jacksonville is just to the south, about 4 miles away. Public schools are part of Duval County Public Schools. Browse current Ortega and Venetia homes for sale below.
