Osceola Forest in Middleburg is a small rural residential area in southeastern Clay County, off Osceola Trail near Black Creek, reached from State Road 218 and Black Creek Trail south of Blanding Boulevard. Rather than a platted subdivision of site-built houses, it is a scattered manufactured-home community, with homes set on large, heavily wooded lots along quiet local lanes, well away from the denser subdivisions that line Blanding closer to central Middleburg. The setting is country in character, with Black Creek's boat ramps and fishing close at hand and the open land of southern Clay County around it. Public schools are part of Clay County District Schools, and Green Cove Springs to the east and Orange Park to the north are reached by driving out to Blanding Boulevard.
