St. Nicholas Area Homes for Sale
The St. Nicholas area sits just east of San Marco on the Southside, where Beach and Atlantic Boulevards come together near the river. The name goes back to Fort San Nicolas, a Spanish fort built near the old ferry crossing in the late 1700s. Today the area mixes older single-family streets such as Redington, Valencia and Spring Glen with townhomes, including new townhome construction, and commercial strips along the boulevards. Metropolitan Park and the Southbank Riverwalk are a short drive away. NAS Jacksonville is about 14 miles away, and Naval Station Mayport is roughly 16 miles east.
