Trout River Heights is a neighborhood in north Jacksonville, set on the higher ground near the Trout River, a tributary that winds through Duval County before joining the St. Johns River. The Heights is one of several small communities along the river's banks, sharing the area's mix of wooded lots, older residential streets, and easy access to the water. Housing here is single family in character, in keeping with north Jacksonville's established neighborhoods built out over many decades. Main Street, the US 17 corridor, runs through this part of the city with shops and services, and Interstate 95 is close for trips downtown, to the airport, or north toward Nassau County. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens sits nearby on the river. Browse current Trout River Heights homes for sale below.
